Faculty MemberDr. Heng Serey Rathana is a distinguished University Lecturer whose expertise integrates substantial professional leadership with advanced academic inquiry. His academic journey concludes with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Educational Administration and his ongoing academic pursuit as a Doctoral Candidate in Business Administration (DBA), which offers a comprehensive framework for comprehending leadership, governance, and organizational development from both corporate and educational perspectives. In addition to Bachelor's degrees in Education (TESOL) and Civil Engineering, this is supported by Master's degrees in Business Administration (Management), Civil Engineering, and Education (TESOL).
Dr. Rathana's academic contributions are substantially enhanced by his executive leadership and professional status. He has demonstrated rigorous technical proficiency as an ASEAN Engineer and a Professional Engineer licensed by the Board of Engineers, Cambodia. His position as Managing Director at the international construction company “SNP-PT International Co.,Ltd” has provided him with invaluable insights into operational excellence and strategic management since 2018. This has been recognized by the Exceptional Managing Director Award from SNP-PT International Co.,Ltd in Thailand.
For approximately a decade, Dr. Rathana has been a Part-Time Faculty member at The University of Cambodia (UC), School of Business (SB), as a dedicated academic. Specialized in critical areas such as Project Management, Operations Management, and Strategic Management, he effectively lectures both international undergraduate and graduate programs. He has been recognized for his dedication to teaching excellence with a prestigious Teaching Award from The University of Cambodia, and his scholarly engagement is further demonstrated by his international journal publications in Thailand and Indonesia. The pedagogical approach of Dr. Rathana cultivates a dynamic learning environment in which students integrate theoretical knowledge with practical applications, thereby equipping them to lead and innovate in complex global contexts.
