LY Thavann
Mr. LY Thavann holds dual master’s degrees—a Master of Economics from Kobe University, Japan, and a Master of Education. He brings both a strong passion for academic advancement and over fifteen years of extensive experience in higher education. His expertise lies in teaching management, business, and marketing courses within business and economics programs at the university level.
Currently a doctoral candidate, Mr. Thavann is conducting research focused on the management of public enterprises in Cambodia. At the University of Cambodia (UC), he actively contributes to academic development by delivering lectures and engaging in research across his areas of specialization, including Business and Academic English.
Beyond his academic pursuits, Mr. Thavann previously served as a professional communication officer at Development Innovations, a project funded by USAID. He was also selected as an international delegate representing Cambodia in an overseas exchange program at Southern Cross University, Australia.
Mr. Thavann is deeply committed to fostering independent learning, encouraging active student participation, and cultivating dynamic and interactive learning environments. His mission is to enhance student learning outcomes and contribute to the university’s vision and goals through close collaboration with fellow faculty members.
