PHORN RATHANAK
Lecturer
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the National University of Management (2004) and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, majoring in Management, from Norton University (2010). These qualifications have provided me with a solid foundation in accounting, business operations, and organizational management. Over the years, I have developed strong knowledge in finance, human resources, and administration, supported by extensive work experience across various sectors.
Since beginning my career in 2002, I have worked in finance, administration, and human resource management, building practical skills in budgeting, financial reporting, staff management, recruitment, and office operations. These experiences have allowed me to understand the internal workings of organizations and support effective leadership and decision-making. My exposure to both public and private institutions has shaped my ability to integrate real-world business practices into academic teaching.
In 2009, I began teaching at the university level and have since lectured at both city and provincial universities. My main focus is on courses related to management and marketing, including areas such as strategic management, human resource management, marketing management, organizational behavior, and business communication. I aim to create an engaging learning environment by linking theory to practice and encouraging student participation and critical thinking.
My teaching is informed by over two decades of combined academic and professional experience. I take pride in delivering practical knowledge that equips students with the tools they need to thrive in today’s competitive business landscape. I remain committed to continuous improvement, contributing to curriculum development and academic collaboration to support student success
