Kim Veasna
LecturerDr. Kim Veasna is a passionate and versatile lecturer with over three years of experience teaching mathematics and business-related subjects at the School of Business, University of Cambodia. With a strong foundation in applied mathematics and an ability to connect mathematical concepts with real-world business applications, he has played a vital role in supporting the academic and professional development of undergraduate students across disciplines.
Academically, Dr. Veasna holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, Thailand (2022), a master’s degree in mathematics from Prince of Songkla University, Thailand (2019), and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Angkor Khemara University in Takeo, Cambodia (2015). His academic journey reflects a lifelong dedication to quantitative reasoning, problem-solving, and knowledge sharing within diverse educational environments.
At the University of Cambodia, Dr. Veasna has taught a wide range of courses that bridge mathematics with business insights, including Introduction to Statistics, Statistics for Researching, Quantitative Methods for Business, Marketing Researching,Textiles and Gaments in the Global Ecnomy, Introduction to Financial Management, and Business-Driven Information Systems. His multidisciplinary teaching portfolio highlights his ability to design and deliver engaging content that meets the evolving needs of today’s business students.
In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Dr. Veasna actively promotes analytical thinking and research-based learning. He brings a unique combination of academic rigor and practical relevance, drawing from his international academic experience and deep commitment to higher education in Cambodia.
